EAR MUFFS

Another raccoon inspiration. I don't know what it is about raccoons, but I'm very amused by the raccoon right now. This was my first old guy drawing; I think it turned out surprisingly well. I like his eyes and mouth especially.

And then there's the "TP Woman" with color. It really reminded me of toilet paper without color, but that's not what I was going for.

TP WOMAN

Today was another day I started one sketch only to abandon it. I had this mental image that I just couldn't get on the page. I moved on to this drawing instead for the moment. It's in ink and I plan to add color.

RAH!

Today's drawing was not my best yet. This was my first time tackling this kind of scene and I certainly have some kinks to work out. At least it was putting pencil to paper. I don't think I clearly defined the body masses in relation to one another. I don't think the man facing us actually has a torso...I wasn't really taking my time with textures or light sources. The pencil lines look really flat and unnatural to me because they are basically just randomly placed. The guy's face isn't really worked out very well either. Still, for a first attempt, and a speedy one at that, I'll give it a little credit. Oh, and the swords look woosy.
